First project planned for 2024-2025

Be part of “Stock the Shelves”!

Our first service project of the year will be in support of the Montgomery County Department of Social Services Foster Care/Adoption Program. Our goal will be to “Stock the Shelves.”

When youth go to residential treatment facilities or group homes, they are required to have their own hygiene items. When children do not have family support to provide these items, DSS is responsible for getting these things for the kids.  Children who are exiting the program may "shop" from the selection we have on hand.  We are extremely grateful to have things on hand for "grab and go.” Other units like Child Protective Services and CPS In-home also depend on these items for their clients when they need these basic things.

If you'd like to write a check, please make it out to MCDSS and notate that it's for personal hygiene items for the Foster Care program.

*Items that are needed for boys and girls include:

·       Body wash (22 ounce or small)

·       Shampoo (22 ounce or small)

·       Deodorant

·       Toothpaste

*Please do not buy travel size items.
